Crane Safety Climber School
Focus on Crane Takedowns
Founded in 2011, Crane Safety Climber School has been providing top-notch workshops for over a decade. We have helped hundreds of individuals improve their skills and confidence in crane assisted tree removals. Our commitment to excellence has made us a trusted provider of educational services in the community.
Our Crane Safety Climber School will be held May 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2025 at College Settlement Camp, in Horsham, PA. Registration for the course will open on Friday, January 31st, 2025 at 12 pm EST.
This course offers hands-on training to give climbers real world experience and familiarity with rigging and cutting techniques used in crane and knuckleboom removals.
Instructors include: Pete Nieves-Sosa (The Crane Man, Inc.), Mike Teti (Custom Climber Services), Fraser Lay (The Tree Man), Mike Livingston (Shreiner Tree Care), Rick Yoos (Yoos Crane Service), Shawn Rowley (TreeWorks), Daniel Lawton (Lawton Tree Care), Paul Biester (Tree Awareness), Chris Girard (Girard Tree Service), Rob Thigpen (Modern Arborist), "Nice Guy" Dave Stice (WesSpur, Ascension Group), Steve Connally (Adaptable Aerial Solutions), Doug Muth (DJM Tree, LLC.), Devon Hutton (Sugarbush Tree Service), Chris Shiffer (Bartlett Tree Care), Bryan Weaver (CHT Crane Service), Jake Riggs (Rigg's Tree Service), Bray May (Cumberland Valley Tree Service), and Derrick Martin.
Credits offered: CTSP - TBA, ISA CEU's - TBA. The registration fee for the class is TBA for climbing students (this section is now full), and TBA for non-climbing students (includes course materials, lunch, refreshments).

Enrollment is limited, and pre-registration is required. Please be aware that all cancellation refunds will incur a credit card processing fee. No refunds after July 31st. Payments can be made by credit card.
Participants must have at least 2 years climbing experience. If our instructors feel you do not meet the requirements to safely participate in the tree you will be asked to remain on the ground for the remainder of the course (no discounts or refunds can be offered).
